Feeling stressed is when you’re not functioning effectively and you’re simply not happy

I provide honest, practical and proactive counselling for stress in Chesham, helping adults and young people to make positive mindset and behavioural changes.

Some typical symptoms of stress can include one, some or all of the following:

  • Anxiety
  • Feelings of depression
  • Tearfulness, anger or disturbed sleep
  • Feeling stuck or confused
  • Lowered self-confidence or self-esteem
  • Lower ability to cope or tolerate life
  • Recurring ill health, aches or pains

It is often the case that you know what the problem is but just don’t know how to stop it or make it go away.

Seeking support through stress counselling, coaching or any other form of mentoring is a proactive way of dealing with your problems. The fact that you are choosing to look after yourself is a sign of strength.

I am an Associate member of ISMA (International Stress Management Association) and have been offering counselling for stress, anxiety and depression for many years. My practice is based on a strong belief that counselling should be proactive and practical. I draw on a wide range of counselling practices and theories, adapting my approach to your individual needs.
